3 Ways to Style a Blazer

If you have been following me for a while now, then you know that I have an OBSESSION for blazers, to the point that it is probably unhealthy. To me, there are just endless ways that you can wear blazers. By adding a blazer to any look, it immediate elevates the outfit with class and sophistication. You can check out a few of my favorite blazers and different ways to style them here.

For this post, I am sharing three ways that you can wear one blazer for work. You don’t always have to go super classic with the matching set. However, I do love a good matching set. For a girl on a budget like me, you want to find pieces that will help extend your wardrobe but feel like you are wearing something completely new each time. The key to achieving this is to find a timeless blazer that won’t go out of season. This blazer from H&M does just that. The print and colors make for a classic fall blazer that should be a wardrobe staple for any businesswoman.

The first way to wear this gorgeous blazer is with the matching skirt. If your blazer doesn’t come with a matching skirt, then I recommend finding a natural colored skirt. For this particular blazer, I would pair it with a khaki skirt. I finished the look with closed-toe brown wedges and maroon velvet top for little something extra. I kept the jewelry simple to not overdo it against plaid.

The next way to wear this blazer for work is to layer it over a dress. I decided to go with this light brown sweater dress and the same brown wedges. I layered more jewelry into spice up the look a bit.

The last way to wear this blazer is to exchange the skirt for a pair of pants. I went with my favorite black skinny jeans and swapped out the shoes for black open-toed heel. Again, I played up the jewelry just a bit more.  This style would also look great with a pair for brown trouser, if skinny jeans aren’t your speed.

Just for the fun of it, I wanted to share another way that you can style the gorgeous skit. I layered in this bright red sweater. This would be perfect for a work holiday party! You could even exchange the blazer from the first style for a long khaki cardigan and the brown boots. That would be super cute too!

As you can see, you don’t have to break the bank to find workpieces on a budget. Each of the pieces that I shared are under $50 and can be worn countless ways. Let me know in the comments below how you would style these pieces. Don’t forget to shop some of my favorite workwear pieces!
