Gingham, gingham, gingham. The print of spring and summer, and it just so happens to be one of my favorite prints too! What I Iove about it is there are so many ways to wear it that won’t make you look like a walking picnic table cloth. You can also find this print in a variety of colors. I tend to gravitate more towards the traditional black and white colors for the print, but also I love it in blue, green, red, or pink!
One of my favorite ways to wear this print is as a button shirt. The first way that I styled it is a very classic way with a button-down, white jeans, and black pumps.
To dress this look down a bit, I traded out the heels for black sandals and added a green utility jacket.
If white jeans aren’t for you, here, I paired this button down with black jeans and layered camel colored duster over the top. If I wanted to dress it down, I could exchange the heels, fringe earrings, and skinny black jeans with a black boyfriend ripped jeans and black sneakers with simple pearl studs.
Another way to wear this print is with a romper. I love this off the shoulder romper! The button detail is such a sweet touch! This romper can be dressed up here as I have done, or you can pair it with sneakers and a blue jean jacket.
The final way that I am going to show you how to wear this trend is with this gorgeous dress. I love the hemming detail at the bottom of the dress. The fit of this top is so flattering and comfortable. I finished off the look with black sandals and a floppy hat.
As you can see, there are endless ways to wear this print. You can be bold and wear it as the feature print of your outfit, or you can use the print to compliment your look. That is why this print is so much more than picnic table cloth! I have found some of my favorite pieces below. I want to see how you love to wear this trend. So let me know below!
