If you haven’t noticed, but there has been an increase in the spotting of cheetah or leopard prints through the racks of our favorite retailers. To be honest, I’m not mad about it. What makes this style of print so amazing is that it can be used as a natural. It plays well with a variety of different colors, patterns, and prints.
You can use it as the focal point of the outfit or as a pop of print. I love to style it both ways. However, you do need to be careful, because certain versions of this print can look cheap. It all depends on the type of material and the style of the print used.
The first way that I styled it was with the print as the focal point of the outfit, as you can see with the below looks.
The key to styling this way is to keep everything else simple neutral tones, unless you want a bold look. Then you could mix prints and bright colors.
If you want to go super bold and wear the print head-to-toe, loungewear is the easiest way to pull the head-to-toe look off without it being too corny.
Another way to use this print is with your accessories. I love adding a pop print with accessories with shoes, bags, jewelry, or sunglasses.
Just have fun and incorporate the pattern into your wardrobe in a way that feels like the most natural fit for you. If you don’t want to commit to this trend, use it as to add depth to your wardrobe with your accessories. You can shop some of my favorite spotted pieces below.
