One of the most prominent prints of summer is palm trees and leaves, which is so perfect! You may be thinking, hasn’t this always been a huge print for summer? Yes, but the way that you will see the print used is way different. Long ago are the days of the print being used for your dad’s favorite Hawaiian shirt, but enter the days of paper bag shorts, dresses, graphic tees, skirts, and accessories.
I fell in love with this palm printed skirt. The silhouette of the skirt is perfect for the beach, because it is structured up at the waist, but flows at the bottom. The high slit shows just enough leg and the high waist allows for versatility of styling. The print doesn’t overwhelm the look but instead enhances the overall vacation vibe.
I have decided to pair it with this green off-the-shoulder front knot sweater and my favorite nude summer wedges. However, you could exchange the sweater for a green camisole or V-neck t-shirt with a thick brown woven belt. For my accessories, I kept them subtle with gold. However, the wooden bag continues to play on the vacation theme of the outfit. The skirt does run a little tight, so I would suggest a size up, and the sweater runs oversized. Both pieces are from H&M.
