It’s festival (concert) season, which means finding the perfect look for whatever type of festival that you will be attending. When it comes to choosing the perfect outfit, I consider the venue. Most festivals tend to be outside, so you need to dress to be in the heat, rain, or mud. So, for me, comfort is key. You want to feel confident in what you are wearing, so it can let go to have fun.
I love the flexibility that a pair of blue jean shorts gives. They are comfortable, cool, and versatile. You could pair them sneakers, sandals, or boots. There is an endless choice of top options too!
The first look is this black kimono and lace cami paired with a pair of acid wash high waisted shorts. I completed the look with a pair of black sandals for a boho vibe, but you could exchange them for cowboy boots for a country music festival. This kimono was a fantastic #skbthriftyfind from Walmart. The sizing is a one size fits all, and it also comes in white. The price was on $16 bucks too! What a steal!
The next look is this embroidered cami and high waisted ripped jean shorts. I paired it with these cheetah print sneakers for a street style vibe, but again you could add a hat, boots, or a blue jean jacket. These shorts are an incredible dupe for the extremely popular shorts from Nordstrom last year. I would say to size up in the shorts, because they run a bit tight. The cami and sneakers run true to size.
The last look is from my The Perfect Eyelet Top post. I exchanged the shorts for a skirt to dress it up a bit. Then, I paired it with my favorite espadrilles from Forever 21 and white Sugarfix earrings. Again, you could add sandals, heels, or boots. Every other piece runs true to size.
All of the different looks are under $50. You can shop more of my favorite festival finds below.
